Granby photographer receives Gold certification at the Grands Prix International du Design
Granby (Quebec), August 29, 2025 - Professional photographer Frédéric Blanchet has been awarded Gold certification at the Grands Prix International du Design for his Maison des Aînés - Granby project, in the Photography and Art category.The project was realized in collaboration with the consortium of architects Espace Vital Architecture, Groupe A and Provencher Roy, responsible for designing this new generation of living environments for seniors. Thanks to this distinction, Frédéric Blanchet is now one of the finalists in the running for the Grand Prix International du Design in his category, alongside two other talented photographers.

The project: Maison des Aînés - Granby
Through a series of images capturing natural light and architectural volumes, Frédéric Blanchet highlights the Maison des Aînés - Granby, designed by the consortium composed of : Espace Vital Architecture, Groupe A and Provencher Roy.
The architectural project aims to create a warm, functional living environment that respects the dignity of the elderly, combining contemporary design and humanity. Frédéric's photographs highlight the modernity of the spaces, the richness of the textures and the harmonious integration of the building into its natural surroundings.
Local and international visibility
Gold certification guarantees international dissemination of the project via the INT.design platform and publications associated with the Grands Prix du Design. It is also a source of regional pride for Granby and the Eastern Townships, where Frédéric Blanchet has been working for over 15 years, regularly collaborating with prestigious architects, designers and real estate brokers.
The Grands Prix awards ceremony will take place on November 13 in Montreal, when the winners will be announced.
